Your Onestop Tours host/driver/guide, Anton (Toni) Forster, and his wife Diane have a lifetime of experience travelling, working and living in B.C. As geography majors from the University of British Columbia, it was almost a given that they would very early want to explore this truly remarkable province. Then followed about 15 years serving as postmaster and general store operator in several interior locations. During that time they raised a family but kept up their interest in learning ever more about B.C. Toni also taught part time at an Indian Reservation school. His love of poring over maps naturally led to a pilot licence and his own airplane. To help defray the cost of this hobby, he started doing tourist flightseeing trips as well as shuttle flights for various lodges and resorts. Forestry fire patrol flights and assorted survey, telemetry and reconnaissance flights for the Ministry of The Environment added more life experience. After a successful stint of managing a major wilderness resort, Toni and Diane retired, sort of. Among other projects and involments, Toni also contracts as an Accommodation Advisor (room inspector) for Tourism B.C.
Mostly, he loves this part of the world and derives great pleasure from being able to help others experience some of the wonderful
things in it.
